Welcome to sharlafanous.com. By using this site, purchasing digital products, booking services, or joining the Low-Friction Living Collective, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Overview
This website is operated by Sharla Fanous. Throughout the site, the terms "I," "me," and "my" refer to Sharla Fanous. By visiting the site and/or engaging my services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
These terms apply to all visitors, clients, customers, and members.
2. Digital Products
All digital products, including templates, workbooks, and guides, are delivered electronically via email or a download link after purchase.
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued once a product has been delivered.
If you experience an issue with your download or believe you received the wrong file, contact me at hello@sharlafanous.com, and I'll make it right.
3. Services
Sharla Fanous provides systems consulting for late-diagnosed neurodivergent women in business, looking at business operations and home systems together as one connected picture.
Services may include:
✦ Business operations assessment and systems audits
✦ Workflow, client experience, and operational design
✦ Home and household systems design
✦ Executive functioning and low-friction system design (the Low-Friction Framework™)
✦ Implementation support and ongoing systems refinement
✦ Virtual consultations and ongoing partnership support
Services are educational, organizational, and operational in nature and do not include medical care, mental health treatment, therapeutic services, legal advice, or financial advice.
4. Client Participation
This work is collaborative. Clients agree to:
✦ Participate actively in calls, assessments, and implementation sessions
✦ Be available during scheduled service windows, or provide reasonable notice when unavailable
✦ Provide accurate information about their business and systems so the work reflects reality
I do not make unilateral decisions about a client's business systems, tools, or operations without their input and consent.
5. Investment & Payment
✦ The Low-Friction Audit: Payment in full is due at booking to confirm your audit slot.
✦ The Low-Friction Reset: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your start date. The remaining balance is due according to the payment schedule outlined in your proposal.
✦ Steady Partnership: Monthly retainer fees are billed in advance of each service month. Partnership requires a 3-month minimum commitment (see Section 7).
✦ The Low-Friction Living Collective: Membership is billed monthly or annually depending on the plan selected at signup.
Failure to remit payment may result in paused services until the account is brought current.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
✦ The Low-Friction Audit: Because this is a fixed, time-boxed engagement, the audit fee is non-refundable once the audit has begun. If you need to reschedule your debrief call, please provide at least 48 hours' notice.
✦ The Low-Friction Reset: Your deposit is non-refundable but may be applied toward a rescheduled start date within 30 days, provided at least 7 days' notice is given before your original start date. Individual implementation sessions within the engagement require 48 hours' notice to reschedule; sessions cancelled with less notice may be forfeited.
✦ Steady Partnership: See Section 7 for the minimum commitment terms. Individual sessions within a partnership month require 48 hours' notice to reschedule.
✦ The Low-Friction Living Collective: Membership is not session-based. You may cancel your membership at any time; see Section 7 for details.
I reserve the right to reschedule any session due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, and will provide as much notice as possible.
7. Membership & Partnership Commitment
✦ Steady Partnership requires a minimum 3-month commitment, billed monthly. After the initial 3 months, the partnership continues month-to-month until cancelled with 30 days' written notice.
✦ The Low-Friction Living Collective has no minimum commitment. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period. Founding member pricing, where applicable, is locked in for as long as your membership remains active without a lapse in billing.
8. Scope of Work
Services are limited to the scope outlined in your proposal, audit recommendations, or membership terms.
Requests outside the agreed scope may require additional billed time, a revised proposal, or additional payment. I reserve the right to pause or adjust services if the scope materially changes once work is underway.
9. Client Conditions
All services are currently delivered virtually. Clients agree to:
✦ Provide reasonably accurate information about their tools, workflows, and business operations so the work can be designed around real conditions
✦ Disclose any accessibility or communication needs that would help our work together go smoothly
✦ Engage with implementation steps in good faith between sessions
I reserve the right to pause or discontinue services if a working relationship becomes unsafe, abusive, or unworkable.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, digital downloads, templates, the Low-Friction Framework™, the Clarity Path™, and other branded materials, is the intellectual property of Sharla Fanous and is protected by copyright.
You may not resell, reproduce, distribute, or share any content, downloads, or methodology for commercial purposes without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
While reasonable care is taken in all engagements, Sharla Fanous is not responsible for:
✦ Outcomes that depend on factors outside the scope of the engagement
✦ Pre-existing issues in a client's business systems, tools, or data that were not disclosed
✦ Emotional distress related to decisions made during the engagement
Clients acknowledge that all systems and operational decisions made during our work together are voluntary and collaborative.
I am not liable for damages arising from your use of this site or the content provided on it.
12. Results Disclaimer
Sharla Fanous provides strategic systems design and implementation support. Long-term outcomes depend on client participation, business conditions, and consistent use of the systems built together.
No guarantee is made regarding specific business results or permanent outcomes.
13. Testimonials & Portfolio Use
With client consent, testimonials, case study details, or general descriptions of our work together may be used for portfolio or marketing purposes. Personal identifying information and confidential business details will never be shared without your written permission. You may opt out of any specific use at any time.
14. Confidentiality
Client information, business details, and household details shared during our work together are treated as confidential and will not be shared without consent, except as required by law.
15. Payments & Security
Payments are processed securely via trusted third-party payment providers. I do not store or have access to your full payment details.
All prices are listed in CAD and are subject to change without notice. Existing clients and members will be notified of any pricing changes that affect their active engagement before those changes take effect.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
17. Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms of Service occasionally to reflect changes to my offerings or policies. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted to the site.

19. Acceptance
