FAQs
General & Philosophy
What does a Systems Designer and Operations Architect actually do?
Many people are familiar with professional organizers who clean out closets, but my work focuses on the invisible infrastructure of your life and business. As a Systems Designer, I look at how information, tasks, and energy flow through your day. I audit your digital workspaces (like Monday.com, Asana, or Google Workspace) and your physical routines to eliminate "operational friction"—the sticky points that cause decision fatigue, mental overload, and eventual burnout.
What does "low-friction living" mean?
Low-friction living means designing environments and routines that adapt to your natural brain patterns, rather than forcing your brain into a rigid, unnatural mould. If a system requires massive willpower to maintain, the system is broken—not you. We build safety nets, visual dashboards, and predictable "reset rhythms" so that daily tasks require as little cognitive energy as possible, giving you room to breathe.
Neurodiversity & Accessibility
Do I need an official ADHD or autism diagnosis to work with you?
Absolutely not. While I specialize in supporting neurodivergent individuals, families, and professionals navigating ADHD, autism, and executive dysfunction, my services are open to anyone experiencing creative, operational, or household overload. If you feel the invisible weight of managing too much at once, these systems are built for you.
How is your approach different from traditional productivity consulting?
Traditional productivity frameworks preach strict consistency and linear energy cycles. For unique or neurodivergent minds, forced consistency is a myth that often leads to a cycle of hyper-focus followed by a complete mental and physical shutdown. My approach is rooted in psychology and lived experience. Instead of fighting your natural energy cycles, we build an operational safety net that catches you and keeps your world running smoothly when your energy hits zero.
Business Operations support
I’m a creative entrepreneur drowning in digital clutter. How can you help me?
I partner with creative founders, freelancers, and micro-agency owners to streamline their business backends. I don't write complex code or build fragile, over-automated tech stacks. Instead, I focus on software tool alignment. I look at the tools you already use (or want to use) and organize them into a single, clean visual dashboard. We will map out clear client onboarding sequences, structure your project timelines, and design secure information permissions so you always have total visibility over your business.
What does a Systems Walk-Through & Testing Session look like?
Once your new digital workspace layout is built, we log in together for a collaborative, hands-on session. We step through your new workflow sequences, test the views, and refine the boards in real-time. This ensures that the platform feels completely intuitive, flexible, and comfortable for your unique brain before you ever have to use it with a client.
Home & Family Routines
What does specialized home organization look like for a neurodivergent household?
Standard organizing focuses on hiding items away in beautiful, opaque bins—which can cause panic for an ADHD brain that relies on visual cues ("out of sight, out of mind"). I design sensory-friendly, low-friction spatial environments. This includes setting up clear visual staging areas, reducing sensory triggers, and establishing predictable, low-energy "reset rhythms" for the kitchen and common spaces that prevent household chaos from piling up.
Can you help me get my children involved in household routines?
Yes. Drawing on a decade-long background in childcare leadership, I help parents design gentle transition frameworks and structured, age-appropriate chore routines. We create physical or digital family systems that respect your children's unique developmental and sensory needs, lifting the mental load off the parents while teaching children how to naturally navigate daily structures.
Logistics & Working together
Where are you located? Do you offer virtual sessions?
I am located in Ottawa, Ontario, and provide hybrid, hands-on spatial organization and consulting services to clients in the local Ottawa area. I also work with professionals and entrepreneurs completely virtually across Canada and the United States.
How do we get started?
The first step is a low-pressure, zero-judgment discovery conversation. We will talk about what areas of your home or business are causing the most cognitive fatigue right now and determine the best low-friction plan to give you your time and energy back.
